bradycardia/ palpitations / sleep apnea

I am a 38 yr old female veteran from Iraq. I have multiple symptoms that do not make sense. I never had heart issues before leaving. Diagnosis: GERD, Dumping disorder, Bradycardia, Palpitations, Left chest pain radiating to neck, esophogeal spasms, pain under right ear, sleep apnea, pain in joints in hands, bloating (total hysterectomy), rash on legs and itch on arms, pain in left eye and headaches.  I have a family history of early heart disease and Congestive Heart Failure. I have had a Heart Cath that was normal, EKGs, Stress Echos. Now they are sending me to Vanderbilt Hospital for Autonomic Testing. What is going on??? Would one thing cause all of this?

Sounds exactly like ANS problems; there is a dysautonomia forum here that you may want to visit, there's alot of useful info and great people who are dealing with what you're going through (myself included)

I'm envious, I would love to go to Vanderbilt I've heard they are great, but I've been dx already with ANS failure so no need.

There's also another great site dinet [dot] org; they have alot of POTS info as well as NCS, OI and other dysautonomia info and conditions that may not be addressed here.

Good luck and if you have any questions, PM me

I think, IMHO, that pursuing autonomic causes is a good first step.  The vagus nerve can be implicated in all those issues.

If that doesn't pan out then maybe a divide-and-conquer approach through a gastroenterologist and a cardiologist, coordinated through your GP.
