icd problems

Had a icd pacer defib put in aug 2007 working well no shocks it has moved and i can feel the screws and wires through the thin skin where its at now also have shoulder pain and is sore when i lay down  some stinging around it and alot of pulling is it painful to have it taken out and replaced going to see my ep  want to know if you think he will replace it?

it is'nt at all painfull, just strange, mine shifted a bit in the first few years, I have had mine since i was twelve, so seven years, it has probably rotated a bit since then i would say, but if you are in pain, I am sure you EP will know what to do. Some people have problems with ICDs and others don't, it is a bit of a gamble. good luck, Mary. i hope it sorts itself out soon!
