hey guys, im a college student and my sleeping schedule is really bad. there would be nights where i would sleep at 4am and wake up at 7am then nap after i get back from class for 3 hours then end up staying up late the same night till 4am again because class the next day is my late class. it is off and on like that. on weekends i would stay up late and sleep in. Lets just say my sleeping schedule was not steady. My schedule would go off and on for a while and sometimes it may be worse during midterms or finals. Do you think this bad sleeping schedule has somehow confused my heart or some other system in my body that can mess with the heart, like the somatic nervous system or something? I have been on winter break for about a month and ever since I have seen a cardiologist my sleeping schedule has been somewhat normal because I have to take medicine but with the exception of very few days where I sleep late. I still have my IST symptoms (though I don't notice it, EKGs do). so maybe my bad sleeping schedule has nothing to do with it. just wondering if anyone else cured their tachycardia by adjusting their sleeping habits.
