please help me feel better

I have heart palpitations a lot.   skipped beats, missed beats, fast beats, irregular beats, everything everyone else has had in this forum.   I've had stress test, echo, halter - all check out ok except for one incidence of atrial fib which I attribute to a sinus medication I was taking.  Dr's tell me while annoying and extremely uncomfortable palps are pretty much harmless. I don't understand how something that disruptive can be harmless.  My question: Does anyone have parents or grandparents that have had these for years and lived a long life?  I guess that would make me feel better to know that they have lived thru them  with no worsening conditions from them.

I've had them for at least 30 years and so far, so good.

I think my grandmother had them (they talked of a pacemaker at one point) and she lived to be 85.

My cardio has them too.
