I drink alot; probably between 1 1/2 g - 2g of water a day...been tested for diabetes, electrolytes, all AI stuff, 20 chem panel; potassium, magnesium, calcium etc... many times over the past 2 years since my problems started.
My sodium was low once at 135, then rechecked at 2 wks and was back at 137 (normal) and has been 136 or 137 each other time, everything else completely normal.
My arms! ugh; I've never had this problem even when they've stuck me 8 or 10 times I never hurt this much but she thumped my veins for a good 15 min straight, I'm just trying to figure out what happened.
I noticed that you mentioned that you drink a lot of water. Do they check your electrolytes?
I run a bit low on sodium...borderline hyponatremia which can trigger palps.... my doc suggested drinking less water and add salt to my diet. Bananas are a good source of potassium. low potassium levels are rare but can cause PVC's as well. We look for any and all potential triggers of PVC's. Just a thought.
can't eat 12 hours before blood work most of the time :(
no idea about the pvc. But for you hydration issue. Well bananas are supposedly excellent for that, as they help keeping you fluids in your body- Not something i can say is 100% true or not, but heard and read this many times before. besides that they are an good source for natural sugar., So might try that next time along with your water-
also...anyone know why her thumping or popping the veins may cause pvc's/nsvt and the shooting pains?
