pvc's and blood work

I went to get blood work this morning around 8:30am and made sure I drank water after I got up because I get dehydrated easily...even doing this my lips and mouth were dry by the time I got to the dr's office...that set off more pvc's and nsvt runs grrrr

Nurse took me back and she kept trying and no veins would pop...when she would find one it would just collapse...arms, back of the hands and inner arms...she popped and thumped my inner arms so much they're bruised and I keep getting sharp pains down my left arm [insert cuss words here] along with wonderful pvc's and NSVT runs about every 20 minutes.

I know I have rolling veins and I dehydrate easily even though I drink TONS of water... I've never had them completely collapse like this - they just roll and it takes one or two tries to get a good vein. Could just be her also - Any idea what I can do besides drink water for blood work?

I drink alot; probably between 1 1/2 g - 2g of water a day...been tested for diabetes, electrolytes, all AI stuff, 20 chem panel; potassium, magnesium, calcium etc... many times over the past 2 years since my problems started.

My sodium was low once at 135, then rechecked at 2 wks and was back at 137 (normal) and has been 136 or 137 each other time, everything else completely normal.

My arms! ugh; I've never had this problem even when they've stuck me 8 or 10 times I never hurt this much but she thumped my veins for a good 15 min straight, I'm just trying to figure out what happened.

I noticed that you mentioned that you drink a lot of water.  Do they check your electrolytes?
I run a bit low on sodium...borderline hyponatremia which can trigger palps.... my doc suggested drinking less water and add salt to my diet.  Bananas are a good source of potassium.  low potassium levels are rare but can cause PVC's as well.  We look for any and all potential triggers of PVC's.  Just a thought.

no idea about the pvc. But for you hydration issue. Well bananas are supposedly excellent for that, as they help keeping you fluids in your body- Not something i can say is 100% true or not, but heard and read this many times before. besides that they are an good source for natural sugar., So might try that next time along with your water-
