Well I was the hospital for A-Fib....22 days ago.
Went yesterday for the dr to do cardio conversion but my blood was too thick
I will double up on Coumdin until Monday...go for blood test....
This is getting to be very stressful

Well I had my blood checked today....way too thin   ...still in A-fib..LAst week...too thick

Does anyone know if they will do the electro cardioconversion if your blood is too thin

Yes it will be the electric shock
I'm still on cardizem, dioxgen ..rythmol. but no change

He said he will talk to me about the ablation also

I take "cardio conversion" to be a electro-cardioversion (electric shock) or medication, which?

The electro cardioversion is usually effective if there are no complications.

The shock does a stop/restart of the heart, I believe, and that makes a clot possible, thus the blood thinner (anticoagulant) is necessary for safety.
