I believe there is a very strong link between anxiety and heart palpitations. On this forum you'll notice that we experience many different flavors of palpitations, that indeed do have a physical basis but are subject to triggers with anxiety being a very big one. I was majorly stressed during the holidays and had major runs of palpitations every day.
Now that I'm back to my normal routine they've diminished a lot. Today I had none! You've had the tests and everything came back normal. Trust your doctors when they say that it's only anxiety, and have an Irish drink to celebrate that you're ok! Yogic breathing and meditation may help a lot in your situation. Welcome to this forum and take care.
One clue: gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Several years ago when I had more frequent episodes I went to an internist who suggested I try Nexium (the purple pill) for thirty days. After that I had no symptoms for over one year and seem to be fairly under control with an occasional flutter. Look into it. Good luck!

Hi,
This happens when you are a very sensitive person and do care much about people. Being under pressure and not sharing others your problems could also cause what you have. You only need to relax and try to change your life's routine.

hi
i often get flutters in my chest but i have a lot of pvcs and sometimes not as much as before bursts of svt .but somedays i know my heart is beating as it should be and i will feel flutters.i also get a lot of anxiety which i dont think helps the palps or pvcs .
anxiety wii defo play games with the heart.
i also dont know if this happens to u if i lay on my left side i get flutters like im on a roller coaster ride or something if i turn over they just stop -its strange.if i lean forward i get them as well
but just to put your mind at ease if u had a good bunch of tests i am sure something would have shown up for u.i know it is easy to blame it on anxiety as docs will .if u are on meds for the anxiety maybe there is a side effect there.
keep posted and take care
