sudden bradycardia during exercise

Hi,
Wondering if anyone has any ideas before I head to the doc on this topic.   I'm a 29 y/o f  with congenital mitral regurgitation (abnormal mitral valve).  Most of the time I feel pretty good.  I exercise frequently, am fit, don't drink or smoke, I have a low resting heart rate usually <50bpm, low blood pressure 103/60.
Here's the interesting bit,  during exercise of a vigorous nature my heart rate will get up to about 150 then all of a sudden nose dive to between 70 - 90bpm, I get into what I call the zone where everything pretty much becomes automatic physically, almost feels like I'm a spectator in my own body.  Things become very distant.  My balance and vision are affected once I stop and I'll have to lie down for a while.  It feels as though my blood pressure is compensating for the slow rhythm which becomes very foreceful.  I recover fairly quickly but I do also suffer from palpitations while at rest.   Does this sound like something I should be worried about or am I just a freak of nature?

I just wanted to add that it is not bradycardia.  Brady is HR under 60.  But I think there is something to talk about with the doc.

Hello...

It is difficult to say this is "normal". You should probably make an appt to have a complete physical and discuss your symptoms with your Dr. He/she may decide to do further testing to determine if there is an underlying problem. Impairment of balance and vision during or after exercise that results in you having to lie down, doesn't seem very normal to me.

If, after all your testing, nothing is found, it would be safe to say then that what you have going on is "normal" for you. I hope that you find answers that explain your symptoms:)

Best of luck to you!
