How can your heart beat so funny, so many flutters, hours of them and they say your heart is healthy,

It leaves me with anxiety waiting for them to come again

I've had very few flutters since my 7 hours of every other heart beat a flutter, was so scary, so many of them, just felt awe full , not knowing if my heart was going stop or them kill me, waited hours , than boom gone, but left me saved and anxiety for the next time they come and stay that long

Does anyone elsa have them like that hours and hours and every other beat at times

Wish we could buy the machine to have at home to hook up to and send in to dr when it's going on that would make us feel safe and better about them

Prayers all has a pap free day

Sorry you are having such a rough time - "talking" about it my help some, I hope so.

There is the Holter (24 hour) and long term heart recording approaches to getting the technical specifics of a heart problem in the hands of your doctor.  I'm sure you know that, bet you have even posted on it, but that's the only why I know of getting the technical details in the hands of the doctor.

I took sleep apnea into my hands when I purchased an Oximeter. This is the simple cloths-pin like device one clips on a finger and gets a heart rate and oxygen saturation reading sampled at about 5 seconds.   Using one of these (about $25 as I recall) I was able to record in my mind the "fact" that I was experiencing low oxygen saturation when I was asleep - really when in bed an waked up and made a measurement...especially if I woke up feeling like I was suffocating.  I reported these "facts" to my Primary Care during my annual physical and he prescribed an overnight, at home. recording oximeter test.  This test was very low cost an included deliver and pickup of the equipment.  I am covered by Medicare and private Health Secondary insurance, but the cost was so low I'd not have "blinked" if I had to pay the full cost out of pocket.  Not saying need to take this test, more this is an example of taking "charge".

My solution, following a much  more costly overnight in the hospital sleep study, was to lose 20 pounds.  This opened my breathiniig path through the throat to stop the "obstructive" sleep apnea problem. I haven't been tested to confirm but I no longer wake up feeling like I am suffocating. I am 6'5" so the 25 pound loss was only about 10% of my body weight of 240.
