what do YOU consider PAC, PVC or ectopic,

Ok, so i was sitting on the toilet and i did strain just for a second i guess or maybe when i turned i dont remember.

but i did feel a "tiny tiny thump but i felt a second of flush and lighthead for .5-1 second.
than the adrenaline rush.. calmed down and it went away..

i was dx'd with SVT 2 months ago.

you think that was just an ectopic or a SVT forming but failed?

Hi. As I understand these ectopics, there are a few common names that more or less classify an ectopic by its general point of origin, not by its manner of moving about the heart, nor its resulting affect on your blood flow, nor its affect on you.

Since you have an SVT though, it might have been an SVE, or "supra-ventricular ectopic" beat. I get em myself sometimes. You can also get series of ectopic beats, as opposed to a full reciprocating tachycardia. How you experience it, or if you even feel it in your chest at all, just depends on the make up of your particular ectopic or arrhythmia. It seems like it would be possible to have a series of ectopics or run of tachy that occurs pretty quickly.

Something I am not really sure about is whether an ectopic or series of ectopics could cause your heart rate to drop for a bit, with a bit of an adrenaline rush. I think it can happen. I think this has happened to me before (some time ago), and I don't think it is that weird or necessarily harmful.

It's happened to me (more than once) - I bet you 10 cents that it was an SVT trying to start up but didn't. It might have been an ectopic and the adrenaline rush gives you a panic sensation. Either way, they will not cause any damage. I have suffered from these wierd things for nearly 15 years. They started because I took large doses of SUDAFED for sinusitis. I have seen some very good doctors (and a couple of duds) and have had all the tests. They told me that we will never find out what causes this. Even one doctor who also suffers from SVT's and panic attacks himself thinks it's caused by a 'vagus' nerve reaction, and starts in the stomach. I agree. Are you taking any medication? . Finally after years of suffering I'm taking a very low dose of Tenormin (atenalol) beta blocker and it's helped enormously.

i dont "feel" the heart beat like in my chest.. i dont feel the pulse

i feel this sensation maybe in my breathing/head for 1 second.
and when i look at my hr moniter my pulse is in the high 60s or mid 70s..
the #s are normal and my BP is usually above 90 when it happens but than i get real anxious and worry about it.

I am real bloated from the cardizem and real gassy also.. related?

weird. Doc, said if the vitals are normal than dont worry about it.. and if it falls below 50 and falls below 80 in BP than its no worry BUT i wanna KNOW WHY i CAN TELL its dropping from just a little sensation.

The lines are:

1 beat = PAC (atrial ectopic)
2 beats in a row = PAC couplet
3 or more in a row = run, tachycardia (SVT).

If your sensation lasted 0,5 - 1 second, it's probably a single PAC. SVT runs are just lines of PACs with no normal beats between.

The same rules apply to ventricular ectopics, but this is probably not the issue here.

i think ALL these sensations even when laying down are all the same.. im always gassy and bloated from the cardizem and i think once the pressure moves.. feeling it or not.. than i must feel the heart rate drop instantly..

hmm possible,

Sounds like it could've been the vagus nerve from when you strained.  That will cause the heart rate to decrease and maybe that is what you felt???
