1 month after exposure

I had my first dose of vaccine last july 27 and second last august 27,i had a needlestck imjury last september 9 by hbsag reactive patient  i consulted a doctor the nxt day and ask me to check my anti hbs level amd it qas >1000 he said that i am fully protected and just continue the 3rd dose,is that true? After1 month i checked again my anti hbs and it is still >1000,is it possible that hbsag was also reactive?thnks,i did not inluded it the test because am afraidd and believe that if my anti hbs is reactve,hbssg was non reactive or vice  versa

i hope will not get the virus., i am still worried., i need to check it for 6 mos.,

From WHO:
The incubation period of the hepatitis B virus is 75 days on average, but can vary from 30 to 180 days. The virus may be detected 30 to 60 days after infection and persists for variable periods of time.

What level of HBsAg? The number relates to the method of assay used, it is NOT the quantity of HBsAg.  It is the interpretation of that number in relation to the assay used that is important. In you case, the Lab report says NON-REACTIVE (NEGATIVE).

2 months after exposure HBSag 1.07., non reactive., anti hbs., > 1000., please intepret>., Thanks.should i be concerned about the level of my Hbsag?any suggestion?

I think you should listen to your doctor. What is the point of vaccination if it does not protect? Yes, check yours HBsAg next routine check.

Antibodies protect by attaching themselves to the HBV preventing the viruses from gaining entries to liver cells and to mark the viruses for destruction by the immune system. The surface coat of HBV is the surface antigen. You are right to say if there are more antibodies than antigens in the serum, the net antigen amount will be zero.

Just my opinion.
