GS-7340

As GS-7340 is more efficacious than tenofovir do you think that by its approval(hope soon as studies are underway in Hiv patients) will lead to the approval of this drug for Hepatitis B and are we expecting more hbv seroconversions(used in combo or mono)?

Waiting for any answers. Thank you

it is not more efficacious it has less toxicity than tdf on kidneys but also this is not an issue on hbv, until now it is more a way to patent a new version of tenofovir because viread will soon be out of patent, trials will confirm its utility but with all the new drugs coming out the next few years i dont see it as uselfull for hbv especially if viread will be much cheaper
