Is this a risk?

I received oral sex from a female sex worker 16 weeks ago.  Is this a risk for Hep B, and if so should I be tested? Thanks.

Hi Polar Bear,

From what I have read from the doctor's on this site both US and international your risk is very very rare and some say it just doesn't happen. However, in my case I was tested for Hep B 16 weeks ago and was negative. I have scheduled an appointment to get the hep b vaccine. Keep in mind I am only giving you information from what I have read from Dr's Hook, Handsfield, and Dr. Jose Gonzalez-Garcia from the UK. Highly respected and reliable advice that I trust. I hope this helps.

Hello Knight,

I was wondering if you for a response. I had a similar encounter where a female sex worker gave me a hand-job and spat on her hand twice and rubbed on my penis to lubricants I am concerned about Hepatitis B. From what you have learned, does this pose a risk?

Thank you!
