Yes I would agree hbsag quantative test needed but also hbeag quantative test so get base lines on both.

Looks like your in an immune tolerant phase

Did you do a fibroscan and ultra sound?

it looks like you have chronic hbv. but probably inactive,at least currently. You should take Quantiative Hbsag and Hbv DNA tests to be sure of it. Also you should take a fibroscan if you can, and routinely check your liver condition with ultrasound. Finding a good liver specialist experienced in hbv would be the best thing for helping yourself. Also lt may be wise to check your Vit D levels and take some supplement if you are deficient. There are a lot of posts about it, you can just search the forum.

Hello antistr,

this is the first time I read articles about chronic hbv, sadly I feel very down and unfortunate broken because I've been a blood donor for the past three years and I thought I have a good blood condition because I haven't received any info anent to my blood condition, until recently a P.E. test required me for my job application. If so, I must have infected others...
yes, it is very unfortunate but it is not your fault. but i think you should mainly focus on your health condition now.i don't know the blood donation procedure but maybe you can inform where you donated blood and if they take records something may be done.
