high BP is veins inflammation, you can try liposomal vit c and liposomal glutathione for 6 months and see if BP gets normal without drugs, it should.of course vit d level must be more than 40ng/ml too

No effect on quality of life, speak for yourself.
For some people it does not bother them it seems, for others living with this is a nightmare, if it does not affect life quality for you that is great but most of us on here do not want this and our life quality is very bad, having hbv is very stressful and stress is not good. I personally hate this and it affects me so therefore my quality of life is not what it could be if i did not have it.

Thanks Safi & Stef for the comments. My liver is not fatty. I think I must loose about 30 pounds by eating right and exceeding. When it comes to food I do eat mostly organic , but I will be very careful the intake of salt and suger. As I progress will report on this forum to all,

Thanks

safi is right, it is the unhealthy life style:
not eating organic food, probably low vit d in blood, sugar in the diet, being overweight and so on.you have metabolic disease as most in western countries, high BP is one of the signs
do you also have fatty liver?

Dear macrold,

In order to help you get a different point of view, let me explain something that I experienced.

I am 29, male, 170 cm, and 65 kg. Plus, HBV patient on Entecavir treatment for 4 months.

2 years ago, I was 85 kg and used to smoke (1 package in a day). I was always tired and my bone, muscle and joint aching. I did not have energy to do any pshyical activity (even walking). I did not have happiness of life..

Then I went for my military service. During 6 months military service, I promised myself to weight loss and give up smoking. I have fulfilled what I promised. My weight came down from 85 to 63. It was a wonderful feeling. The activity capacity of my body was unbelievable. All my ache has gone. I am full of energy, and never get tired even after intensive work outs.

So, how did I get this?

1. Promised my self.

2. Walk OUTSIDE(!) 5 times in a day under the sun.(walk walk walk walk)

3. Each walk takes at least 40 mins.

4. Sugar free, salt free

5. Eat 5 times (3 large meal, 2 small meal)

6. Eat fruits and vegetables (too much)

7. Eat meat, eggs, milky food (not much)

8. Breakfast - Largest meal, Lunch - Larger meal, Dinner: Large  ---- one small meal in the afternoon, one small meal in the evening

9. Exercise with small weights at least 3 times in a week.

10. Be always active in terms of pshycial activity during the day. For example, do not use elevator, walk to market rather than drive if possible.

11. Be positive even in negative situations.

PLEASE DO NOT OMIT WALKING. IT IS VERY VERY IMPORTANT.

You will see, you will increase your energy while eleminating aches day by day. Summer is coming, do not miss the opportunity.

My mother (50) also did  half of what I write above. She emanated all aches and get full of energy.

Do not forget to write here if you do..

Good luck

I am interested about this is because of the fact that I get extremely tired and my bone, muscle and joint aching. I had every imaginable medical tests are done but nothing came up except Hep b. I am about 30 pound over my ideal weight, do take medication for blood pressure (enalarpil)  and my thyroid is monitored because of a slightly low TSH4 number . Additional thyroid tests were done annually and my thyroid seem normal according to the specialist. Used to smoke but quit over 4 years ago. The pain also seems to come, stay and go for a while. If hep b is not causing this I do not know what. Thanks Stef.

actually sometimes i think i was better when i was cirrhotic before i started treatment than with normal liver now and on treatment

i had much more power and psychological better...maybe some effects of antivirals or the effects of immune activation

hbv has no symptoms even at the stage of cirrhosis and liver cancer, so no effect on quality of life at all.you may feel tired from time to time during periods of immune activation, that's all

only when close to death, uncompensated cirrhosis or close to death for liver cancer you have symptoms
