We need help

My husband is a 26yo African Male.  During a routine health screening, it was found that he had slightly elevated liver enzymes (Both under 100).  This led to further testing which confirmed HBsAG+.  Since then, his liver enzymes have risen to AST 97 and ALT 300.  I have tested negative and have begun vaccinations. His latest tests are as follows:

Hep B DNA is 1.7.
Hep B Core Antibody - Positive
Hep Be Antigen - Negative
Hep Be Antibody - Positive

He has seen a liver specialist and has an appointment for a biopsy.

Can someone please tell us, in plain English, What this means for us and our future.  Also, please give us any suggestions for healthy living.

Thanks for answering.  This has been an extremely hard time for us.  It was just so unexpected.  Has your husband had any treatment?  I really appreciate your response, we have felt very alone in this process.

Hi since his liver enzymes are high , biopsy should done to estimate the degree of liver damage to help guide treatment. It is safe and helpful . For healthy living alcoholic drink forbidden losing weight since fat in liver rise enzymes too.
You should have your 3 shots of HBV vaccine .
Your case same as mine I have my vaccinations and my husband had his treatment and every thing ok since 1997.
