Inactive HBV carrier

Hi Friends,
I'm HbsAg positive since 2 yrs. My HbeAg is negative and Ati HBe is positive and HBV_DNA_PCR is negative since 2 yrs. My ALT is also normal from 2yrs. No symptoms also. Doctor has classified me as an Inactive HBV carrier.. I haven't had any medication since 2 yrs, But today (1/12/2012) doctor has given me Lamivir HBV 100mg tablets once in a day in the morning.
Now my question is What is the status of my HepB and Shall I start this medication to bring HbsAg negative.

Stef, how about adding selenium to his supplementation ? There was a study that it improved vaccacine response in diabetic t1 people as I remember, maybe its worth to try anyway since its cheap and safe ?

Hi Bro,
Thanks for the update. I've finished the peg interferon on 2nd April 2015. Is zadaxin in the injection form or pills form. Please name some of the HBV vaccines so that i can try if i can get in india.
I've a doubt, if i use hbv vaccine, wont it raise my hbsag levels because as i heard from hbv vaccine, it is the dummy hbv virus created from yeast of something i don't remember it.
i will raise my vit d3 supplements to 10000 iu daily. again thanks for the update

moving in to sperimental pdl1 drugs will sure clear remining hbsag and fear of liver damage should be null because virus/cccdna left is extremely low....just monitor for 2 years or try zadaxin immediately for now and let us know

zadaxin is better than peg to make hbsab when hbsag is so low

You have achieved a very good response for your prolonged Interferon treatment. There is not guarantee that Interferon treatment will clear HBsAg. I am at a loss at which you can do next, but I am sure you will remain in this non-active disease state for a long time as your HBsAg level is so low. Maybe you will s-seroconvert in the coming months.
