Medisines and chronic hbv

Hello Community,
I wanted to know if it is safe to take medicines for us who are chronic hbv patients, i.e. other than the necessary hbv drugs? I've been told that I've a high blood pressure, and my doctor recommended a drug that I would take all my life against the high blood pressure. Also I'm suffering from anxiety but I'm afraid to take these medicines because they would make my liver damage even worse. What is your opinion? I'm now 45 years old and I've most likely had hepatitis B from birth; but I've not yet started with medicines against hbv. The doctors say that my liver fibroscan and ultrasound are ok, and my hbv dna was 2700IU/ml last year, and blood work is so far ok. But I've some minor issues with my kidneys, my urine albumin to creatinine ratio was 12,9mg/mmol meaning moderately increased, from last year.

Hi
I take entecavir 0.5mg for HBV and Olvsnce 20 for blood pressure. I take entecavir at 6am and Olvsnce at 8am. Have not experienced any drug interaction problems so far.

I am active cyclist, 47 years old male. Cycling helps control my BP. You can take up some Cardio exercise like walking, jogging, cycling, this will help with BP (of course start the exercise with doctor's advice)

Thanks for the reply and for  your advice. I was, in particular, concerned about  the prospect of taking life-long medications and not interactions between the drugs. I've read that the liver is the organ that processes all the drugs and supplements that we take, and considering we have a chronic liver disease, may be we are more susceptible for increased damage to the liver. I'm by nature, very conserved about taking drugs of any sort, unfortunately, I've been diagnosed with the chronic hepatitis and chronic kidney disease which have reduced my quality of life drastically.
Lately,my blood pressure has been getting quite high, and I've, reluctantly, decided to take a once daily drug against it, I hope the advantages of the drug would be more than any possible damages to the liver. And in the meantime, I hope the researchers would succeed in finding a cure for the HepB, which would mean to be born again for us chronic hbvers.
PS. I've read somewhere that it is advisable and with better outcome to take the high blood pressure medicines during the night instead of the day.
