After treatment you will be fine and all those living with you have an injection also to ensure it does not spread. This is what is done in Australia. I contracted it 40 years ago but didnt know i had HepC at the same time. Within 6 weeks i was fine but you will carry HepB antibodies for the rest of your life. You will be fine as long as you get the treatment. Yellowing of the skin and eyes should clear within the six weeks. This is my personal experiance and others that i know of. Keep positive and have the right treatment.
