Persistent viral counts after Viread treatment

I am a chronic HepB carrier and recently start the treatment with Viread. After 3 month, there is no difference in my viral count. Has anyone experienced similar scenarios?

in case you are in immune tollerance phase you need tdf+etv or tdf+ftc (truvada) to make hbvdna low and once undetectable you need peginterferon add on to have an immune response so that antivrals can be stopped or hbsag cleared
we have a member, i think nick is something like asianmale, he was treated while on tolerance phase and made tdf+etv combo to make hbvdna und and then added pegintf and cleared hbsag.

post hbvdna tests baseline and at 3 months and confirm if they were made by the same lab

you may consider adding vit d3 10.000iu daily and entecavir to fasten response

It does seem unusual, however not knowing all the details, it is difficult to offer an explanation. Some factors that may affect response (not in any particular order):
1. immune status - in the Immune Tolerance or Clearance phase;
2. Initial viral load;
3. any previous exposure to Adefovir, drug resistance etc;
4. Compliance;
5. Viral loads measured at the same lab;
6. source of the drug.
