A GROUP of doctors called on lawmakers on Monday to pass a bill that will set clear-cut policies to protect workers who tested positive with hepatitis B in the workplace.
In a press conference at Davao Doctors Hospital, Dr. Marilyn Arguillas, former president and consultant of Hepatology Society of the Philippines (HSP), said there's not even a single legislation in the country that protects workers from discrimination such as getting better job opportunities and promotion at work.
