Please tell what do these results mean ?

Hepatitis B Surface Antigen - Reactive
Hepatitis Be Antigen - Non reactive
LFT - SGPT is high 106 IU/L . Everything else within normal range
Hepatitis B Virus DNA not detected
Hepatitis. Delta Antibody - Test reactive on borderline. Cutoff 0.971 , test result 0.922
Whole abdomen ultrasound normal. Liver a little fatty

im not overweight but i have already changed my diet and trying to exercise more. The doctor has given some more tests for the elevated delta virus. ill get them dome today. thanks for all the help.

The Delta virus is Hepatitis D which can only exist in the presence of Hepatitis B.  It can complicate the issue to some degree.  They tested you for the antibody but I'm not sure if that determines whether you have the Hep D virus.  Please follow up on that.

Your ALT (SGPT) is high...any reason for that?  Alcohol? Medications?  Possibly the fatty liver.  If you're overweight you should consider a change to  your diet.

Then you should have another test 6 months from this test.  Only when you still have positive HBsAg can you say you have chronic Hep B.

these results are not more than a week old. Is this likely to disappear itself or after treatment ? thanks for your help again

When did you test for these results?

More likely chronic.  You should not overworry but should monitor the condition.

Does these results mean I have chronic hepatitis b ? or acute ? Can this be cleared with medicine ? I am just 21 and these results have really worried me. Please tell if i need to be very worried ? do these results tell how long I have had the virus for ? Also do i need to be worried about the borderline delta virus ? what does the the delta virus test mean ? Thanks for your help Cajim

You have HBV with low activity.  Monitoring rather than treatment is appropriate at this time.
