TDF dose missed
Kindly ignor my grammer mistakes.My friend is out of country now a days visiting his family.he is on TDF for last 6 months.chronic HBV carrier.he has taken his medicine with him and was taking it regularly.but for last 2 days he is out of that place for some work and forgot to take medicine with him and not took for 2 days.medicin is not available there.he'll be back tonight.what can be outcomes?plz answer and comment.worried for him.
Just saw this message. Tell him to continue normal dosage. He should NOT double dose any days to make up the missed days.
Chances are, nothing will happen. He would have needed to miss many more days than 2 in a row to have issues.
I have missed a dose here and there by accident and have been fine since. It's not the end of the world. Body responds just fine but tell him to try not to miss any more.
