Testing

Hi, is anyone able to tell me how soon after exposure can I get reliably tested for Hep B?

most people will test positive by 6 weeks.  6 weeks is a good start for all virus stds.

HBsAg (Hepatitis B surface antigen) becomes positive 1 to 10 weeks after exposure to Hepatitis B virus.

One thing you can be sure of is that this virus never treats people exactly the same. What it does in your body is almost guaranteed to be different in mine.
