Thank you so much for your response. I really appreciate. Doctor has ordered for a DNA test and some other tests for him. We have done it and waiting for those reports. I will bring them when we get the reports. Thanks again and hoping for the best.
We cannot tell just by one test. He may be acute, in which case he is likely to recover fully, or he may be chronic, in which case his prognosis depends on his history , the present state of his liver and what the virus is doing. Chronic HBV has no cure at the moment but can be very effectively controlled by existing medications. So consult your doctor.
