cirrhosis, hbe positive, lam resistance and hbvdna detactable are the worst conditions to prevent hcc
too bad that once lamivudine resistance is detected there is no difference between being hbvdna und or detectable as prevention of liver cancer

maybe interferon can be more active in case of lam resistance, the mutated virus is much weaker to immune molulators
