HbSag reactive, non-infectious

My HbSag reactive but they tested after a week a certain test and said it's non-infectious, what does it mean?

Hi! Gud day, january this year i am diagnosed hepa b reactive, i lose the oppurtunity to get in the company because of the condition. My problem is im applying again for another job and im afraid if i test reactive again, I dont know what type of hepa b i have coz i dont get the result, my question is, does i have the chance that the virus disapear in my body? Does drinking before the medical can affect the result? Please answer! Need it badly

i need some Guidance as i need to know what is difference between HBsAg & HBeAg?
2nd if a persons eAg & PCR is negtive what he is in still danger or safe?
3rd Please clear if HBsAg is non reactive do it means HBsAg is negtive?

You should vaccinate your wife before marriage after doing hbsag test.Just wait and do LFT,S.PROTINS A./G RATIO,HBV DNA PROFILE.

core promoter 1762, 1764 and precore 1896, 1899 can be used as liver cancer markers because the presence of these mutants is found in any patient with liver cancer, so as you said this test should be mandatory because in case they are present treatment must be started anyway and fibrosis and hbvdna/alt are not important since the risk of liver cancer is maximum

an hbvdna<50iu/ml is the best way to prevent liver cancer and to survive after resection of a liver cancer

this mutants are also the most prevalent forms of hbv worldwide, for example i have them all except 1896

Before starting treatment it is a good practive to find hepatitis B virus (HBV) core promoter variants (nucleotide positions 1762, 1764) and precore variants (nucleotide position 1896) in hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg)-positive patients.

This can be done through "genotype" test - and here is the information from quest diagnostics. Same should be available from other testing channels.

I think before one goes on treatment, this test should be made mandatory to select best treatment path.

If the surface antigen is positive, then you should assume the person is capable of transmitting the virus to someone else. Alot of the lab tests for hep B are only suggestive-not everything happens according to the textbook. Lab tests indicated that I had seroconverted, but further testing showed there was mutation,and I am still a carrier, as the virus can mutate as a response to immune reaction, or as a response to drugs used to inhibit dna chain replication of the virus. In my case, the virus mutated due to my immune system. The only "cure" for hepatitis B is if the immune system clears the virus with specific antibodies that kill the virus.

This result indicates the person is infected and consider as "inactive" carrier. It is better to get viral load test done, to check whether the person is low infectious or needs treatment, There are very good drugs to control the virus.

As for as getting married and having kids, that should not be a problem as long both husband, wife take care of themselves and are under doctor's advise.

There is no proof that this virus is transmitted through sweat.

How safe is this patient? Is there any cure/ treatment for Hepatitis? What is your advice for this patient in relation to him getting married to a lady who is not infected with the virus. Please help with this solution as soon as possible as the parties are bend on getting married. How safe would this relationship be and what would be the fate of their children to be?

If there is any treatment kindly advice. Can the virus be transmitted through sweat?

You should post all your HepB markers.

If your Hbsag is reactive then you could infect others who have no immunity.
