Please answer my question, thank you guys!!!

Hello, i hope you can help with my question...
My partner had hepatitis b in the past, i have been with him around 5 years now, but not vaccined, as i did not know much about this disease and he is healthy, so thought he got rid of it... I am pregnant now and had a blood test, it was negative, I dont have the hepatitis, does it mean, my partner dont have the virus anymore or if he has, is it possible, that our baby might have it, can it transfer in sperm? Hope you can help me, as im so worried about it...

Per my doc I u infected with hep b I will always be with you. It's depends if u are acute or chronic, active or inactive, jut have to keep monitoring it. Why don't you go get vaccinated if u know he has hep b? But usually when u get it when u r an adult u will develop antibody to fight it. If u r neg on hep b test ur baby should be fine. U should really find out what's ur husbands Hepb situation and talk to his GI doc.
