hi

Hi there, 3 weeks ago i went to the doctor because i had panick attacks. She tested me for  Hepatitis and they send me a letter saying that i had hepatitis A, then i went to the doctor and he said that i got Hep b ( i was reactive). I went to a  Gi and she send me to do more test, I still have more test comign back but i'm desperate. My hepatitis b surface antigen is non reactive.

My HEPATITIS B DNA, QUANTITATIVE

HBV VIRAL LOAD, PLASMA, BDNA     my value is < 2000           standard range    2000- 100000000ml
HBV DNA, plasma,BDNA     my value  < 357                                   standard range    357- 17857100ml

mY ALT is 20
ASt  is 22

these are all that i have so far. can somebody interpret  my dna ??

I still have more test to come back, but since testing non reactive to  hep b surface.. do you think that is a good sign??... Thanks..

Amazing!  You are non reactive to  hep b surface and you are in panic and your docs are sending you for all kinds of tests?

Calm down.  If you are non reactive to  hep b surface, you don't have Hep B.

If you don't have HBV, don't expect it to show up in blood test.  If you think you were infected before you have antibodies, it can take up to 3 months.

How can you have Hep B when you test non-reactive to the surface antigen?

how could one doctor tell you you were non reactive and another tells you that you are reactive..simple as explained to you by two members.. if indeed you are non reactive then you dont have hepB and if you are reactive then you do.
your dna shows some level of virus load so you may be reactive.
less than 2000 units or copies not sure the measurement tool used but either way with that number and normal liver funtion then lke th eletter stated that you are an healthy carrier .

unless ofcourse all these results are listed wrong and the first doctor was right saying you were non reactive
