Hey Zaydollar,
I am also from Nigeria. I also live currently in Nigeria. You need to have further tests done. HBSAG quant usually reported in Copies per ml, HBV DNA, Alt/ast.
Unfortunately theres no place in Nigeria to have HBSAG quant done just yet. Only option is to send blood samples to India. A lab called Hightech labs. You cld google this.
Best place to start is where you started: Here!  I have gained so much invaluable information ever since i joined. Now, get a doctor to manage your treatment, if its necessary for you.  I would advise you check here on any drugs your doctor prescribes you before you start popping those pills in. I was a victim my self. Started off with TNF when i had undetectable DNA. Now, i am looking for a way to get off the drug and abt to start interferon to help me safely stop the TNF.
Third, you need to read up and understand what HEp is all about, as no one can manage you better than you!
Fourth thing is: stay positive and optimistic. Your not alone in this. Take care and feel free to buzz anytime!!!!

Hepatitis B is a chronic disease. Its treatment requires long term consideration. Also, requirements for treatment vary from patient to patient, and from time to time. So I would advise against self-medicating. The first-line medications recommended for HepB are: Interferon, Tenofovir and Viread.

HbSagPOS = hbsAg positive.
Don't know about DNR.
Your report should tell you the results, no need for us to guess the meanings of terms and abbreviations used.

Acute - a short period.
Chronic - long period.

When you are diagnosed with Hepatitis B in adulthood, generally you should determine whether the Hepatitis is acute or chronic. Most adults will clear the acute infection in about 6 months, so you should test again after 6 months. If you are chronic (e.q. you were infected at birth but only discovered it now), then you should educate yourself about this disease.
1. All those in your immediate family, especially your sexual partner, should be tested and receive vaccinations if not infected;
2.Chronic Hepatitis B is a slow moving disease, currently there is no cure but there are effective treatments to keep it under control. You should check regularly your liver functions and be treated when it is necessary. So consulting your doctor is important.
