why have scientists managed to find a cure for hepatitis c but not hepb? is hepb virus much complex than hepc? and why don't researchers focus their research on erradicating the hbv template cccDNA, which keeps the viral infection going, instead of focussing on the by-products of the virus? to me it feels the big drug companies are not interested in finding a finite treatment or cure for hbv, because that would mean no more sustained flow of capital to their coffers.
