Does trmt give chest pains?

Hi all. I have been having continuos chest pains after riba interf. Trmt has anyone experienced this? I was chked out at the v.a.hosp.ny and they found nothing so I don't get it. Also can I go on new trmt with a fatty liver. Am at v.a.hosp.ny and they realy give me next to no answers. I would appreciate ur input, thanks. I am feeling realy lousy. Thanks to all of you for all your responses and concern I will tell the doctor and have them see whats going on. All of you r real angels and so strong that I feel so blessed to have you all as we battle such a horrible disease may the Lord bless and keep you strong.     Jamila ny

Anytime someone is experiencing chest pains...while on tx. or not should be evaluated by a doctor...

It may be nothing or it may be a heart problem either treatment induced or  otherwise.
If it continues  please be cautious and heve a doctor look at you.

I had chest pains due to anemia, hard to breath.

I do know that the screening process for the clinical trial I entered looked for heart problems that would exclude you from tx.  I have had some weird random pains in my chest from time to time but they pass quickly but I think someone with a heart condition could get scared by this.  You say your pain is constant though so this is something you need to discuss with your doctor.  You are being monitered by the VA hospital so I would hope they know what they're doing.  Can't comment on the fatty liver question but if you have trouble sleeping you are not alone.  There is probably another thread here that deals with that.

Have been on interferon and RIBA before about 2years ago did a year treatment unsuccessful, and never experienced chest pains. I just started again three weeks ago with triple therapy and have not had that either. Possible gas? Maybe try tums or antacid. Good luck
