Elevated Ferritin level

After having some yearly routine blood work, my ferritin level registered 204.  Last year's blood work showed the level at 137.

Further blood work was done and yielded a BUN/Creatine Ratio of 40 and a   neutrophils count of 76.

I am having an liver ultrasound tomorrow also.  Assuming that does not show anything significant, would medication likely be the next step?

If you have been diagnosed with Hep C ... your likely next step would be a liver biopsy.

I could be mistaken about this and surely someone will correct me if so. 76 for neutrophils is kinda low. Once treatment starts it could head lower. Discuss with your doctor about the helper drug Neupogen. Good luck.
