hep c from hep b test

can hep c, or signs of hep c be detected from a hep b test????????

The two viruses are not at all related hep b is a DNA virus hep c is an RNA virus the genetic material is not the same.  hCV has nothing to do with HBV and vise versa. The confusion lies in the word Hepatitis it simply means inflammation of the liver.  Ibuprofen can case hepatitis. So it's like asking if a doc examines my arm can he tell if my leg is broken.

No, the anti-bodies are different. RNA is different too. However, if liver tests indicate anything abnormal u should be tested for C also.
