A silly question about Sex

I'm posting this because I had to tell someone about my stupidity and you folk are a long way away and tho you can I hope laugh at me on line u don't live next door to me.
Actually I can't pretend to be a shy wee thing I just need to laugh at my self for a different tragedy other than looking ridiculous climbing on my horses and for having trouble touching my toes at the moment ( O ;
This post is about SEX or the lack of to be more honest.
Just recently I met a younger man (oh oh) he loves horses (he's my farrier) handles them beautifully they relax under his hands shiveringly (is that a word)hmmmm
He started to chat to me lots when he did my horses feet and even ph me to see how my horses were doing wow a dedicated man you think?
HE loves Quarter horses their lush and big bums and chests and it turns out other big chested things.
We started flirting on line a new experience for me then.......... I freaked out and ran away when face to face.
This friendly Lad offered uncomplicated lover and friend sex and laughter  and I said no at the eleventh hour (Well it was more about 10.30 pm.
Why did I do this? OK not as flexible at the moment. Alright, he was prepared to work with that.
Up and down like a yo yo pardon the pun . (and the man likes yo yo's)
I certainly could do with the exercise and recreation.
OK I did have a devastating break up with my partner of some years who told me he loved me right up to the minute he decided he loved 2 of us and wanted me to accept a woman into our lives I didn't even like very much.(Mid life crisis) when I was on meds and couldn't be clear about any thing.
But past herstory aside why am I doing this strange thing of saying no to a bit of loving fun with some one I like?
Am I now just wanting an mono sexual life with only myself for thrills and titillation (sorry had to throw that word in what can I say I'm obviously extremely immature)
Now I can see how silly this post is but is there a healthy sexual drive after hepc that goes beyond your self once in a while?? back out into the wider world or am I going to continue to feel like brave sir Robbin who bravely ran away away and bravely ran away. When danger rares its ugly head she bravely turned her tail and fled .......etc any one else scared to get back out there?
or is this just another tragic get over your self Linda the drama queen type situation???

Sorry if I came off a little flip and insensitive. as I see you are really struggling to regain something lost. As to answers, I'm not exactly clear if this is a physical libido issue, a psychological one, or combination. Even so, probably others here, or at other forums, are better equipped to help you during these difficult times. Many men have reported post treatment libido problems and it's not a joking matter. Women have also reported the tx drugs bringing about menopause and the such faster. Hopefully you will get the answers you want. As to this guy, if he is someone you can trust, maybe just open up with him how you feel and see how it goes. What is  there to lose?
