The SOC tx is 180 mgs. injection of Peg weekly and 1200 mgs. of Rivavirin tablets or cap daily.  The whole idea is to hit it aggresively for several reasons, see a Heptologist for individulized tx ideas, limitations etc.  Also depending on your genotype and the Country you live in, the Ribavirin dosage varies.  Tx time also varies for genotypes from 24 weeks to 48 weeks, sometimes as much as 72 weeks which is usually reserved for hard to tx situations.  The tx options change for varying reasons, like if you've tx'ed before, but relapsed.  There is a whole wealth of information on this forum as well as support if you're deciding to go thru tx.  Here's a link I will leave you with, it has tons of information.  The archives on this forum has a wealth of information as well, including alot of personal experience stories on various topics related to tx and beyond.  God Bless
