I'm not sure of the answer but I do know you *never* put any medication through with baggage. That's because baggage slips away to other destinations so easily.
Keep your meds with you.
I’ve flown several times with interferon. Get a note from your doctor saying that you must travel with interferon, an injectable medication. Carry on a small six pack cooler with an ice pack and hand it to the person as you go through security. If it is a long flight, bring a ziplock bag and ask the attendant for ice. I flew international a couple months ago and had no problems at all. If you are still concerned you can call your airline and they will put a note on your reservation.
