It took me about 5 mon. off of treatment to have my sleep normalize. Even Ambien was not working. Unfortunately, I've been on several treatment rounds so this means it's been lot's of years of having screwed up sleep. When I came off of my last treatment, I was so hyperactive. In fact it's happened the last 2 times that I came off. I could not sit still if my life depended on it. Talking super fast, etc. And the insomnia. I swear, coming off of treatment makes me like a bipolar person in a manic phase. Then, that went away about 5 mon. post treatment.

Rabbit, I slept ok during tx except for waking five or six times to pee. After tx I experienced about three months of sleep being screwed up bad. It passed and once again I sleep like the innocent babe that I am. It will pass for you also I would hope. Frank
Hello, that's a horrible feeling, not being able to sleep. Not to mention that lack of sleep can leave you wide open for catching all the colds and flu bugs going around. You have got to talk to your doc and let him know how serious you feel about this, sleep deprivation is something most docs understand.
There are all kinds of remedies out there "that are not addictive" tell him how this is affecting your "awake" life and I'll bet he will help.
