Any chance for clinical trial of sofosbuvir+ledipasvir?

My mom is genotype 1 with cirrhosis stage 4, non responder. It is released by Gilead that sofosbuvir+ledipasvir is quite promising for patients like my mom, SVR of 99%. My mom is willing to take part in the clinical trial but I am not sure how to get in? My mom lives in China but she can be in US if necessary. Do I have to find the specific doctors or hospitals to join in?

hi nan, I wrote an email to the contactor but no response for a few days. Do they accept trial participants only under the recommendation of specific doctors?

Hi Maxine

I believe this clinical trial may meet your mother's needs.  The contact information is included as is the participating locations. Some are already recruiting and some locations are not.  Having never participated in a clinical trial I am unable to give you any advice on how to proceed but I'm sure there will be others who will come along to help.

All the best to you and your mom.
