i think my experience is alittle different than everyone elses. i have been on monopril for many years for high BP- and was OK to take the hep c Tx. however while on Tx my BP rose again, and they added tiazac as well. BP is now maintaining well, and 42 weeks into 48 everyy things looks as if it is working well.

SOC meds made my BP drop. It also drops when I get the slightest bit dehydrated. But mostly my pcp thinks its the meds.

My nurse said four days ago that i had a BP like a young boy 110/60 and I´m 54years old she asked if I was taking any BPmeds which I dont.
Normaly I use to have 120/80but I´ve lost 16lbs and stayed there for a couple of months couldn´t that be the reason for the lower value or is it the soc meds?

I had very low blood pressure when I was on treatment but I don't think it would be a problem due to the meds - just that it might affect your blood pressure.
That sounds like a question for a doctor not really for one of us.
I take lisinopril for my BP. Its not a problem with the tx drugs. Lately we have been lowering the dose and my doc finally discontinued the lisinopril because the tx has caused my BP to drop into the low-normal range. We'll wait to see where it stablizes after tx.

I take Aldactone for my BP (it also keeps me from retaining fluid from my HCV). When I treated the first time I was taking hydrochlorithiazide. Didn't have a problem with my BP meds and treatment.
