This particular web site - Janis7 - is really helpful for al information on hep C. I especially like their section on biopsies. Now they have added biopsy slides and they are pretty cool.
I would same your were a 2 in fibrosis - that means there is some extension of scarring from the portal triads. First comes the inflammation. It causes scarring (firbosis). At first the scarring is limited to the portal triads - where the blood vessels come into the liver - then it starts spreading out from the portal triads to other portal triads. When it does that it is called bridging -- and I don't think you are there yet.
Read this stuff on Janis and I think you will have a better understanding. If you like, post the entire text of the biopsy here and I will look at it. I think you are in pretty good shape, like Newleaf said, but you may want to think about treating now.
frijole
That actually sounds pretty decent. It's important that the damage is minimal around the portal vein. You can actually google phrases and get good explainations of the bvarious terms from medical dictionaries online. Did they give you a 2 number score, like 0/1 or 1/2, something like that? The first number gives inflammation and the second rates for fibrosis (scarring).. Most use a scale of 0 (no damage) to 4 (worst damage).
