12 week test still und!
A different test was used. it measures to 5. Not 43 like the previous test I took and I was und! But what concerns me, my ferritin has risen to 3900 My iron is 200 my saturation is 67. Ast is 98 ALT is 116. Has anyone heard of ferritin being THAT high?

Terrific news that you could get hold of that sensitive test and be UND.
My high ferritin was no big deal when I treated, except my family doc found out and panicked.
The hepa set her straight and was none too nice about it. He said that for me, it was a meaningless number while treating. High levels may be an issue with PCT or hemochromatosis, though.
The way I understand it is the ribavirin causes hemolytic anemia and the iron in your red blood cells has to go somewhere.
Mine wasn't as high as yours. Do you have a hema as well as a hepa watching your numbers?
