Terrific news that you could get hold of that sensitive test and be UND.
My high ferritin was no big deal when I treated, except my family doc found out and panicked.
The hepa set her straight and was none too nice about it. He said that for me, it was a meaningless number while treating. High levels may be an issue with PCT or hemochromatosis, though.
The way I understand it is the ribavirin causes hemolytic anemia and the iron in your red blood cells has to go somewhere.
Mine wasn't as high as yours. Do you have a hema as well as a hepa watching your numbers?
