Sorry for lots of post here.
I remembered that nurse took the blood on me is not wearing a new gloves theres a lot of patient yesterday in the hospital...and she had a difficulties to draw blood so she touched the needle and try to draw a blood.
Do you think this thing will put me in risk in hepatitis?
Thank you very much for your quick response
I'm not using the gloves but i open only the wrapping of the needle and i put the syringe needle but im carefully touched the cover only not the needle...
High Risk or No Risk?
You want to evaluate the risk of whether it was the same needle?
The nurse would have acted pretty fast in the few seconds you looked away. Plus the needle was in the exact location.
Ordinarily I would say the risk is minimal to none but since the nurse let you participate in the blood draw and you were very likely not wearing gloves then I personally would not have much faith in any part of the process.
I hope someone else can offer more assurances and I am glad your initial results were negative.
