Anyone sick when Driving

I am sorry guys I am back with another question-I am on Vectrilus Instead of Invcik I think its spelled wrong sorry and I am on Inerferon and the Ribavarin sometimes when I drive home from work I get shaky dizzy and then of course the tummie hurts anyone experience that?  I do have a sinus infection 2nd round of antibotics could it be from that or is it normal for this to happen on treatment?  If I can get this to stop would make life easier! I already take pills for Nausea so I dont know what is normal and not normal its been good for awhile now it started again but I notice its when I am driving unless I am still not eatting enough this Vectrilus is STRONG!  Someday I promise to help others on here and give advice when I am educated enough to give it!

My biggest problem driving is that  I close my eyes at stop lights then I open 'em in a few seconds and all the cars have pulled away.  Got to stop that!

Maybe you can listen to a talk show on the radio -- something to divert your attention from your nausea.  We have had some laughs her about txing and driving!

I didn't drive during tx unless I really had to. I would forget how I got from point a to point b.

I am with Orphan. I would have a hard time. Keeping my mind on the road. I had to drive on the beltway in DC to go to the DR in Bethesda MD. It was like riding the ...Scream machine.. at six flags. It was scary!. NO nausea just  mental anguish.

You might try carrying some little snacvks around with you (a few nuts, a banana, some ryecrisp, some yogurt, or some cottage cheese).

I still get these waves of nausea, shakiness, light headedness, and extreme fatigue and I feel like I need to lie down or I will fall down (and I am on week 35). They usually occur in the afternoons and early eves. I find that if I eat something solid that I feel much better in just a few minutes. I do not know exactly why the snack relieves the symptoms, but it does. I usually carry something with me all of the time if I am not home.

When I did tx the first time we used to refer to it as brainfog.
Mental disturbances are a very common side effect of interferon.
You have plenty of company.

If you don't need to drive, it's a good idea to stop during tx.
I stopped after my first two week, on SOC, when I had to make three U-turns to get to someplace close by.
My mind was too confused and I felt I wasn't safe on the road.
