I had acupunture for the first time during treatment - at around the 6th or 7th month i had a few sessions - it helped a bit with the muscle aches and pains - of course announced my condition up front - for me the number one help with the aches was a hot water bottle
good luck with the treatment

I'm not sure about mixing TCM herbs with tx, due to possible drug interaction, but Dr. Zhang-- a reputable chinese MD who practices in NY-- does have some suggestions regarding this.  You may want to contact him and ask his opinion (he has a website with a link to email him).

Acupunture does help me with fatigue and joint pains, but I am not currently on treatment.

Good luck!
