Work

They have pulled me out of work until 9/4. I got bronchitis and lost 15 lbs in 10 days. I feel like a 100 lb weight has been lifted from my shoulders. Now I can strongly battle the dragon.

I worked from home but even that was too much as I had to work 8 hour days. Well when I dropped all the weight that fast both my PCP and the clinic agreed I was going to work till Monday and my hep nurse said no right now! Yes bean I have income protection thru the union, I have taken FML and Vol cost savings so my insurance will get paid.
Well I have always worked too, but I realized I was working up to my quality and quanity I am capable of. Like they all said I hvae to take care of me. Also, I have been truly blessed my husband has been so helpful and understanding!

Rocky - sounds like the smart thing to do at this point.  You have battled so hard with the anemia and bronchitis is brutal, in my experience.    Who made the decision to pull you from work -- your medical team or your work?  Since it is 6 months, does that qualify you for short-term disability -- I mean, will you get paid while you are out?  Working has always been important to me.  If I had to quit work, I might not treat.

I hope you can get some rest and recover from the bronchitis

Glad to hear you are now able to focus all of your energy on healing yourself! I could not work from the day I started triple therapy (Incivek) last October. I also got bacterial bronchitis (January) -- our low white blood cells make us susceptible to bacterial infection. Now finish slaying the dragon!

Good attitude.
I'm amazed at how many people work while on tx.
Its so nice to be able to focus on all the fun things about tx, like lying down, drinking water, watching movies, drinking water, and going to the toilet :)

I'm glad you can now concentrate on tx and not have to worry about working.  I was fortunate enough to be able to work at home and only when I felt up to it.  I hope you feel better and get your weight back.  Keep fighting and slay that dragon.
