She said that she has to write things down in order to remember. Well I bet this is a little scarraed but im very upset!! About 4 years ago i told to a women who lost her husband to this and she told me right before he dided he lost his memory and then his mind and he died shortly after! I dont know what to say im just ask all of you to please respond to this and tell me what you all know about the final stages of Hep. C.

Hi, just wanted to point out to you that none of us are doctors, and none of us can really pinpoint what exactly is going on with your Mom without a whole lot of info, and then we would just be analyzing these things from our own experience, etc...and not as professional experts...did you mention if your mother had alcohol or any problems like that? Forgot...

As far as who exactly knows what a person's timetable is for dying, only the universe, etc...knows that, certainly not any one of us here, not even the doctors always know that one for sure...

My younger sister was almost pronounced dead, and was only given days to live with a 10% chance of pulling through...went into liver failure and kidney failure, was incubated for close to a month, spent 3 more months in the hospital...and that was almost 4 years ago now, just talked to her yesterday and she's walking almost 2 miles a day...course she still has health problems, but I wouldn't bet what her timetable is...

Not to say everyone will have this experience, but I just know from this experience that there is always hope...

There is a woman on another board I speak with every so often, everything went wrong with her, kidneys, the whole shot, I was almost certain she wasn't long for this world, her liver transplant kept giving her trouble, etc...She just posted yesterday that everything seems to be getting much, much better, she's feeling much better, etc...and has resumed close to a normal life with great expectations...

So remember don't give up hope, find out what's going on with her, talk to her doctors, etc...best of luck to you...

Here is a support group for cirrhosis with a lot of info, and there is another liver failure support group from the Janis and Friends site if I'm not mistaken....

(Natto) is sticky and has strong smell and taste. Natto is a good source of protein...

Interesting. I used that protein line a lot in my younger days, but never had it referred to as Natto.

But seriously, thanks for the heads up. Whoops.

No comment. Have a great weekend. And yes, I'm already researching Natto at this Japanese food site: http://www.links.net/vita/trip/japan/food/natto/

"Natto resembles bits of hardened fox feces anchored in snot..."
