What other choice is there when you can bleed a whole week out of every month and don't die?
You left me speechless girl, that don't happen often.

Trish always leaves me speechless. Those Canadian gals are too wild for me ;-)
You left me speechless girl, that don't happen often. :) Hope all is well with ya
With the things that a woman's body goes through on a regular basis...you have to keep a sense of humour. Or else you end up in jail. :-\
" Her skin didn't suddenly break open and she's bleeding out of a wound. The monthly liner that creates in a woman's womb in preparation for a baby is excreting. Her body goes.."Geez...all this for nothing AGAIN...I go through this EVERY MONTH..." and out it comes."
Oh my.............:)
You don't need to wear a condom if you're monogamous with your girlfriend unless you're engaging in sex acts that will cause tearing.
If YOU are the one with HCV...and SHE is the one bleeding...and the blood is coming out of her vagina...where do you see the infection risk? Her skin didn't suddenly break open and she's bleeding out of a wound. The monthly liner that creates in a woman's womb in preparation for a baby is excreting. Her body goes.."Geez...all this for nothing AGAIN...I go through this EVERY MONTH..." and out it comes.

Now..if SHE were the person with HCV...then that would be another story. Her blood would be all over you and you'd be best to simply wait until she's done her period, even though it's still blood to bloodstream transmission and you'd need some kind of break in your skin for her blood to enter you.
Have you been confirmed positive for HCV by a PCR? Are you planning on treating or have you treated?

Practicing safe sex to avoid unwanted diseases is not a new concept by any means, I'm 46 and learned that in 9th grade health class. Hep c is not considerd an std and as pointed by several above is transmitted though blood to blood contact only. If your worried get tested.
The answer to your question is no but if y'all are worried about it then slap on a condom.
No offense to you, but I am so tired of people posting here when they could simply look up information about how hep C is transmitted.
Blood to blood~simple!
meant to say that you would have to be bleeding somewhere that came into contact with where she is bleeding.
Honestly, chances are slim to none that you infected her.
There has to be blood to blood contact to transmit hep c to someone else. that means that you would have to be bleeding somewhere to possibly infect her. If you are male semen does not transmit hep c. Still if you are a male using a condom seems prudent, doesn't it?
