GSI-7985 1st week results

My first week results from taking the combo GSI-7985 pill I just got yesterday.  I was 19,700,000 and VL was 81.  I am not getting the Ribavirin.  Doctor said I'm probably UND this second blood draw.  Will have results soon. It's seems with or without the terrible Riba this GSI-7985 is extraordinary. I didn't hit UND until wk 12 but relapsed with SOC back in 2007. I'm training for a half marathon coming up 21July from Napa to Sonoma and this 7985 has not prevented me from doing my daily run. Ribavirin made me so anemic I could hardly walk upstairs to my bedroom carrying my dog.

You are amazing if you ran while on interferon and Riba.  Shows how strong you are mind and body. Then treatment you are starting has much better results and I wish you SVR in the near future.

I have never done a 1/2 Marathon in my life so this will be the first. I been doing 2 to 3 miles fast walk run and trying to build to slow run without stopping until my Team challenge starts 02March.  Then we get trainers to help us and build up for 15 weeks for the 11 1/2 mile.  The big success I'm in treatment for HCV and can do this.  No ribavirin!!!!!!.This is my true motivation.  I could wear a sign to announce to the World,.  "I'm running while in HepC treatment", this is the future for all!!

Yes the bottle says Sofosbuvir 400mg/GS-5885 90mg but the pill itself has GSI on one side and 7985 other side.  My clinical nurse just says here is your 7985 or give my your 7985 pill bottle to count.  So like the clinic I say GSI-7985 instead of typing the whole long full combo description. What does your blue pill say on it?  Doesn't your clinic have short cut when refering to the pill.  Gilead have taken the 79 drop the 77 and drop the 58 and keep the 85.  DaDaaaaa, my we present the new miracle pill 7985.-LOL.  I will take photo and post it.  I'm happy!!!!

Pretty amazing.  Clear at 2 weeks would be a great beginning.  Good luck on the half marathon.
Crossing fingers for you and I'm glad you got in.  : )

I do 5K's and have thought about doing a sprint triathalon or a half marathon.  I have not liked doing longer distances because many of my past associates have had knee and hip issues. (and so no longer can run)         Hahahah; I've been "saving" myself.  :)

It's amazing; the runners in this age group are still pretty competitive, but there are a hell of a lot fewer of them.  : )
