Food and Viekira Pak

Hi everyone, I will start soon treatment, I am hep c 1b F2 VL 804000, age 35. My doctor still considering what type treatment I need, but probably he said that I will go with Viekira pak. There is so lot of information regarding SVR %, what drugs to avoid during treatment and that need to be taken with food. But what kind food, how much in AM and PM exp. banana and apple it’s enough or need sandwich, bacon eggs...???

Tom, I was in the Turquoise Trial for cirrhotics. I cleared in the trial on Viekira Pak. There were no contraindications (except alcohol) or requirements to eat anything special. Some people find it helpful to eat if you are taking ribavirin and it is bothering your stomach. I had absolutely no problems.
